Table runner "A mon seul désir"
"A mon seul désir" is the major piece of the "Lady with Unicorn" series composed of six tapestries each representing the five senses: taste, smell, touch, sight and hearing.
This tapestry would embody the sixth sense, that of the heart.
It depicts a young woman of high society with her next one, they are surrounded by a unicorn and a lion on a red background with a thousand flowers and animals.
A masterpiece of the early French Renaissance, it is kept at the National Middle Age-Thermes Museum and Cluny hostel in Paris.
This table runner is woven in cotton, lined with a plain beige cotton fabric and has 2 pompons.
All our table-runners are designed, woven and finished in our factory, in France.
